Rush & Lusk ETNS, Dublin

This project was part of the Adapt 18 Programme which involved the construction of a New 16 Classroom School (3,287m2), three storey, primary school building including a two classroom special needs units along with all associated site works. The project sees the replacement of the original temporary school on the site. Site development works included the development of a new traffic management system to serve Rusk & Lusk ETNS and the adjacent Lusk Community College. The new system included a new internal circulation road with parent set-down and collection area, relocation of existing Rush & Lusk Educate Together National School, on site staff parking for in excess of 100 car spaces including relocation and amalgamation of Lusk Community College parking.

External works also included the development of a storm water management system including attenuation and outfall via a previously approved existing outfall to the Bride Stream and new foul sewer connection to the existing public mains to replace existing connection. The project also included the demolition of the existing temporary school building.
