Tegral Building Products, Athy

This project involved the demolition and removal of part of the existing production building including removal of a significant amount of asbestos containing material from the site. The project saw the the development of some 2000m2 of new production space suitable for gantry cranes and modern production processes. As part of the project the existing production processes remained in operation while construction works progressed overhead. Facilitating this involved coordination of the design team and contractors by MPA and development of phasing arrangements that would see the safe execution of the project with minimal impact on production.

MPA have been involved with the project through planning, procurement and construction. MPA have provided Project Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, Design and Assigned Certifier services as well as PSDP services for the project. MPA are also involved in the procurement and co-ordination of specialist consultants for Mechanical & Electrical Works.
