This project involves the extension and refurbishment of Athy Heritage Centre, a Protected Structure, to create a new Shackleton Museum and heritage experience including the display of Shackleton’s cabin a significant artefact from the 19th Century explorer.
The works include for the planning designs and specifications for the storm water management system for buildings, carparks and hardstanding areas, as well as foul drainage and water supply all to be designed to the requirements of the County Council, in accordance with the criteria set out in the Greater Dublin Strategic Drainage Study (GDSDS).
