Richard has twenty eight years experience as a practising specialist traffic engineer and transportation planner. He has been employed by local authorities and private concerns for advise on design of new transport infrastructure as part of new developments including roads, cycleways, footways and associated street furniture including signing and legibility features.
Richard has particular expertise in the preparation and review of Transport Assessments to support planning applications, Master Planning, Transport Planning and site promotion. He also has considerable experience in the preparation and presentation of evidence at Planning Appeals and Development Plan Inquiries. Richard has been responsible for many projects in sensitive parts of the UK, New Zealand and Ireland. Richard has provided transport advice on numerous projects involving an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
