Marble City Industrial Park, Kilkenny

This project involved the development of a new business and industrial park on a site of 12 hectares. The works involved the design and construction of some 600m of new Link Road to NRA DMRB Standard, design of a new roundabout at the public road junction and provision for a second roundabout at the site extents. Internally there were 5 internal junctions and connecting roads.

The project also involved the realignment / upgrading of some 500m of Local road to provide for 6m wide carriageway, new footpaths, public lighting and cycle track provision. MPA were involved from detailed design to Taking in Charge stages, providing all Engineering design services for Roads, drainage and Utility services including broadband, Gas, Electricity, Public lighting and Water supply which came from on site well with deisel generator backedup fire water pumps to a pressurised mains and hydrant system. The storm water management system for the site involved SUDs measures including use of soakaways and infiltration devices.
