Martin Peters Associates (MPA) Consulting Engineers is a vibrant multi-disciplinary team of Civil, Structural & Transport Engineers established in 2005 with offices in Kilkenny and Dublin. We are development and infrastructure consultants that offer a range of Engineering services, to both the private and public sector, for the planning, design, construction and management of development related projects including Civil, Structural & Transport Engineering designs, Project Management, PSDP and Assigned Certifier Services.

What we do

The company provides services for all scales of building and infrastructure projects within all construction sectors including; Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, Leisure and Public Buildings. We are a lean, efficient, highly productive company that prides itself on providing quality services and value for money which continues to ensure we operate with repeat business. Our ongoing client relationships have seen us work across the full scope of developments from buildings and infrastructure to the delivery of sustainable transport solutions.

MPA offers multi disciplinary Engineering Services to both the private and public sectors for all scales of projects. It is the aim of the company to “bridge the gap” between the need for development and the principles of sustainable development and protection of the environment. As part of our approach and our “bridging the gap” ethos MPA provide sustainable engineering solutions to modern engineering challenges from planning through to completion.

At MPA we believe that first-class innovative Engineering is the cornerstone for any progressive economy and it is required for sustaining growth and progress. MPA offer a comprehensive range of Engineering services backed by experience from large scale projects. We bring innovation to our projects and we strive to design better for quicker delivery without compromising on quality. BIM

Over the last ten years, we’ve have seen our industry transform to 3D technology and Building Information Modelling (BIM), MPA are keeping apace with this transformation in the roll out and use of 3D software and analysis tools on all new projects. We work with the Autodesk REVIT software suite to develop models. Our procedures and documentation are being developed to align with BS1192:2007, PAS 1192:2 and BS1192:4. Where provided we can address the requirements of Employers Information Requirements as outlined in PAS 1192:3. We are aligned with Government Policy on the Digital Transformation of the construction industry in Ireland.

Our 3D Structural designs can be integrated with Revit models to create a full structural information model for your projects. We can use our developing experience on BIM projects to ensure successful outcomes for our clients and assist design teams to bring the vision to life.

As an adopter of 3D modelling, we are helping clients to realise the benefits that it can generate, we aim to go beyond what was done in the past and this is achieved through 3D building modelling. Using innovative and efficient solutions, with the understanding that BIM is unique to each project.

We are striving to achieve BIM Level 2 standards within MPA and recognise that this will be achieved through experienced and skilled staff, adequately trained and resourced to allows us to offer collaborative design services and co-ordinated designs through a new approach to how we do our business in this digital age.
